I love the concept behind this app, but it just takes too long to unlock my rMBP. I have to wait about 10 seconds until i can unlock it via Knock, because the Bluetooth isnt ready. Sadly, that cant be fixed by the developers.

I like the concept of this app. When it works, it works flawlessly and it is very responsive to every tap. However, even with Bluetooth turned on, it often doesnt connect to my Mac when the app is not running. This app also requires Bluetooth to be on which can drain battery quite noticeably on iPhone 5. Looking forward to improvements!

The app is awesome, but it would be better if we can unlock the mac when he sleep... Super!

The biggest problem I have is that my Mac has to connect to my phone before it recognizes its near. Im on a 4s. This takes a very long time so it is never worth using. Entering my password is always miles faster. Also a lot of the time it doesnt ever pick up my Phone. I have to open the app and wait a while.

this app is a great idea but it should work first try every time, or it is futile. why would i knock on my phone for five minutes when i can type my password in 5 seconds? Im tempted to ask for a refund unless they can improve this app. as of now, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. wasting your $

The app works it does what it says it does. But by the time it connects to my MacBook I could of typed my password in ten times. Until it gets faster wont be using this application.

Anyone who has a Mac should get this app! Its amazingly seamless to use and great to show off.

If it was compatible with wifi it wouldnt take as long as it takes now with bluetooth. I need to turn off my phone bluetooth and then turn it on again, open the app, its usually most of the times. I like the concept but if you could develop it through wifi thatd be amazing.

My suggestion, if u have a Mac, its just a MUST BUY app!! If u dont mind leaving your Bluetooth on, it just works perfectly!!! It saves time and it is very comfortable especially for people that have a long password. INCREASE UR PRIVACY by turning LOCK IMMEDIATELY in the settings and u have nothing to worry about, u just hit your phone (that is always on you) twice each time! ;) "Great to show off as well" :D

It’s kind of like magic. The previous version would stop working if I walked out of range and back in, but now it appears rock solid. If it had support for multiple Macs it would be perfect.

The idea of not having to type in a password to unlock your mac is great but the use of Bluetooth causes problems. Most of the time the Bluetooth fails to connect until after the mac is already unlocked via password. Hopefully improved connectivity will come in future updates.

PLEASE INCREASE THE KNOCK SENSITIVTY FOR 4 STARS I like the concept and how it works to a certain extent. Where are my manners, I usually like to start off with the good; the setup was smooth and remarkably easy. The visuals on the lock screen of the Mac are a nice touch and user interface all around is intuitive. However, the reason its only 3 stars is because I just dont like how theres a wait time to connect. Thats annoying, I could have put in my password already. I know thats hard to code and incorporate in your app so Im asking for the most simple thing, please PLEASE increase the sensitivity for the knock. I seem to have to pound my phone or knock it ON something to unlock my Mac. Let us control it, or fix it, PLEASE. Otherwise, job well done!

The concept is of Knock is great. Unfortunately the implementation thus far has proven mediocre at best. It usually fails to connect until long after I could have already typed my password. Once it does connect it often takes 3-4 knocks before the Knock app recognizes two of them. Please keep improving! I’d love it if it worked...

It often takes long enough to detect my phone and get ready to wait for the knock to unlock that I may as well have just typed my password in. I type fast enough. I also find myself knocking on my phone, but not at the rate the app seems to like, meaning it takes several knocks before it unlocks. (Maybe I just have freaky fingers, but I also find rapping on my phone with my knuckles kind of uncomfortable.) When it works well it works really well, and is pretty cool.

This app has a lot of potential, if only it were able to unlock my iMac from being in screensaver (seriously?) or from sleep. Typing my password is still faster, and you can’t use this on more than one Mac. Boo! It’s got a ways to go but here’s hoping the developer didn’t just sell us on a gimmick.

Very clever app. Works well. Doesnt work all the time, but makes me smile.
